I completed an audit in a virtual classroom, how will I be notified, and when will I start?
It's great you had the chance to audit a class. Your audit is a chance for you to see how the system works and see the interaction between a current class and the instructors.
As there is roughly 2000 applicants in line, your placement will be determined based on many things. Your application, resume, and telephone interview can play a role. We are currently accepting 25 students a week into the program. Be patient and bear with us as we increase enrollment over the coming months. But don't fret, no one will be left behind. You will be contacted by our Admissions department and given your class assignment prior to the start date.

I agree, I have been waiting a long time also. It's hard to be told to wait and not hear anything for months when the VA is trying to help you get retrained and you have a family to support also.

I have a Question for VBTC Staff. Do you have to be in a chapter 31 program in order to be accepted into training. And would you be considered last or after all the 31 elgible veterans have begun and completed the program. Anybody that knows the answer to that can respond thru e-mail, just click my name.

I applied for the program back in August of 2006, and I am yet to hear anything. I have spent money in order to get my headphones and high-speed internet installed. I have sent numerous e-mails in an attempt to get an answer. I am 100% percent disabled, and I must support my family. I cannot tell them to wait when they are hungry or need clothing. In two more weeks I will have been waiting for seven months. If anyone knows how to contact the MOPH/VBTC please share it with me, because I have failed in every attempt.
