While you are in training you are paid an $11 an hour stipend for every hour you are in training. If you are VR&E approved that stipend is shared by the VA and the Purple Heart Foundation to equal out to the $11 an hour. If you are not VR&E approved the Purple Heart Foundation pays the entire $11 an hour. This is a 600 hour program and is based on that fact.Related Articles
